Al Capone Was A Saint?!?!?!

Somehow I found this on the web. Somebody asked a question about Al Capone. The person asked if Al Capone killed women and children..

The answer selected as the "best answer" was so absurd I could not help but leave a response...

Read for yourself:

Best Answer:  Capone did not kill women and children. From what I know he was a "Robinhood" type of guy. Steal from the rich or bad and give to the needy or good.

My grandmother worked at a cafe in Paris, Illinois during Capone's crime. One day he came in for pie. He tipped her very well and was very kind to her. She said he was surprisingly polite. Despite the fact that he meddled with prostitutes, I think he was a pretty nice guy...if you were on his good side.

Al Capone tipping your grandmother means Al Capone was the most loving, caring, decent human being ever, huh?!?!?! You couldn't be more wrong... Al Capone DID kill women and children. His heart of gold persona was just an image, he was as ruthless as he was a great publicist

he knew that it would be a lot easier for him if the public opinion of him was good. But Capone had many places blown or shot up that would likely have had women and children inside...If you think that he didn't mean to kill any children or women then you're sadly mistaken.

tipping a waitress doesn't mean squat to the children that died because of that maniac...
